RUDRAKSHA

The term Rudraksha, which symbolises Lord Shiva himself, is made up of two words – Rudra which stands for Lord Shiva, and Aksha that means tears of Lord Shiva. Rudraksha thus pertains towards the eye of the divine soul or Lord Shiva which reveals the ocean of compassion and love for the humankind.A rosary of maala which is used while Mantra chanting is generally made of Rudraksha. The beads range from 108+1, 54+1 and 27+1. The +1 is termed as Sumeru which should not be crossed white doing rounds of Maala. There are many popular personalities who have adorned this maala. Few are Mahatma Gandhi, Dalai Lama, Osho and more. Rudraksha thus pertains towards the eye of the divine soul or Lord Shiva which reveals the ocean of compassion and love for the humankind
